I am a bit late for the world of Dune :D
What you see here is more of a refined pre-vis rather than a finished product, a workflow exploration if you will. The goal was to study a movie scene and create a brief story with accompanying characters.
Inspiration for the Baron was mostly from the first Dune movie and for the Bene Geserit from all the work the fantastic concept artists did for the latest Dune movie, so all credit goes to them. All of them were created in Blender, rigged, and then animated in Cascadeur. The facial mockup was done with FaceIt motion capture although nothing was polished.
The sand animation was the main focus idea and was done in Blender using Geometry Nodes. The final scene shots were created in Blender to match the original camera settings and were colour-graded in DaVinci Resolve.
